6/30/2023 0 Comments Phoenix Extravagant by Yoon Ha LeeI love dragons in fantasy novels, and Arazi was just as much fun to read about. I enjoyed this book for two main reasons. Jebi can no longer stay out of politics, but what can they really do? Well, it turns out that they may be able to steal Arazi, the war dragon automaton which belongs to the ministry, as well as find a way to fight back. It may not be a great job, but it is a job, and Jebi has no issue with it until they discover the depths of the crimes committed by the Razanei government. But then Jebi, desperate for a job, finds themselves recruited by the Ministry of Armor to paint the mystical sigils that animate the automaton soldiers used by the government to occupy their land. They certainly do not want to be involved in the growing rebellion. Not a genius artist, mind you, but it is their life and they love painting. 6/30/2023 0 Comments Unbelievable book katy turAt one point, he got a crowd so riled up against Tur, Secret Service agents had to walk her to her car. Katy Tur lived out of a suitcase for a year and a half, following Trump around the country, powered by packets of peanut butter and kept clean with dry shampoo. “Compelling… this book couldn’t be more timely.” – Jill Abramson, New York Times Book Reviewįrom the Recipient of the 2017 Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in JournalismĬalled "disgraceful," "third-rate," and "not nice" by Donald Trump, NBC News correspondent Katy Tur reported on-and took flak from-the most captivating and volatile presidential candidate in American history. 6/30/2023 0 Comments 'night, Mother by Marsha NormanJessie wants to give her mother as much help as she can, including helping her deal with the death by securing her sources of comfort.
